The Story of Dust Aerial

Dust Aerial began with a practical exploration of the aerial sport communities in johannesburg. After visiting various studios and immersing ourselves in pole and aerial sports we fell in love with the technicality and discipline of aerial sports and soon it became clear that this community required more than just standard activewear.

Dust Aerial is being created from a desire to build a local, South African home for aerial technical wear that grows alongside our country's evolving aerial communities. We see the need for pieces that mirror the transformation we experience in the studio. True strength is most beautiful when expressed as grace. We are creating Dust to honour individual journeys of every athlete. Whether you are hitting your first climb or mastering a complex sequence, we are here to support the community that makes the impossible look effortless.

The Aether

At Dust we call our community The Aether.

Within the Aether we recognise each other as Faes (Pronounced Fay). To be a Fae is to embrace the ethereal and the supernatural within yourself in Dust Aerial Apparel.
